TOP HIGH SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES TO COMPETE IN THE NYC MAYOR’S CUP INDOOR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS SATURDAY, JANUARY 28 AT THE NEW BALANCE TRACK & FIELD CENTER
More than 5,000 of the City’s best high school track and field athletes will compete in the ninth annual NYC Mayor’s Cup Indoor Track & Field Championships to determine the “Best in the City.” New York City public, Catholic and independent schools will participate with athletes competing in long jump, shot put, triple jump, high jump, 55m hurdles, and more. The events take place on Saturday, January 28 at New Balance Track & Field Center at 216 Fort Washington Avenue from 8:30am–5:30pm.
The NYC Mayor’s Cup series, which encompasses a variety of sports events throughout the year, is organized by NYC & Company, the City’s marketing, tourism and partnership organization. The series brings together student athletes from public, Catholic and independent schools to compete for the title of Best in the City. For more information, visit nycmayorscup.com.
